No because each of us is responsible for its addictive nature. So "venire contra factum proprium" has no sense in itself!

I did google, but I did not clearly understand the result of the context. Surely somewhere in the amount of hits there was a better one, but it was more simple to ask "explain to me, please".
I have had this expression in front of me a couple of times in contract discussions, but I never got a reson to look it up. You have just made me learn something new - and important
